Privacy Policy Effective December 31, 2015; Updated January 12, 2016

New Intelligentsia Atelier  (“New Intelligentsia,” “we,” or “us”) knows that you care how information about you is used and shared. This Privacy Policy explains what information of yours will be collected by New Intelligentsia Atelier when you visit and interact with our website, how the information will be used, and how you can control the collection, correction and/or deletion of information.

On principle, we do not share customer information with anyone outside of our organization unless we need to comply with a court order to do so for some unforeseen reason. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information we collect by other means (including offline) or from other sources.

Information we collect

1) If you choose to sign up for our newsletter or exhibition announcements or events we collect your name and e-mail address via  forms on our website. You may unsubscribe from these list at any time.

2) You may make a purchase from our shop. We use the PayPal service to receive payments and send invoices and other payment related messages to you; PayPal has their own privacy policy and we rely on them to protect your personal information   We have access to your contact and billing address and shipping address information required to complete your purchase;  we do  not have access to your credit card numbers or other financial information.

3) You may provide us with your name and e-mail address when commenting on blog posts in our site.  We moderate comments and may or may not share the comment that you write.  If accepted your comments will be visible publicly but your contact information will not be visible.

4)  You may provide us with your name and e-mail address and other information related to customer service or technical support requests.  When you use our contact us form to provide customer service and technical support request details we refer to this information for business purposes and do not share or sell this information.

New Intelligentsia Atelier does not support customer accounts at this time; we may do so in the future.  If this occurs we will update this privacy policy to include privacy protections on our user accounts.

Cookies Information: When you visit New Intelligentsia Atelier, we may send one or more cookies – a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters – to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser.  A cookie does not collect personal information about you. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive after you close your browser. Persistent cookies may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the site. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your web browser’s directions. A session cookie is temporary and disappears after you close your browser. You can reset your web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. Clear Gifs Information: When you visit New Intelligentsia Atelier, we may employ clear gifs (also known as web beacons) which are used to track the online usage patterns of our users anonymously. In addition, we may also use clear gifs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened by recipients. The information is used to enable more accurate reporting, improve the effectiveness of our marketing, and make New Intelligentsia Atelier better for our users.

Third Party Services: New Intelligentsia Atelier uses third party analytics services including Google Analytics to help understand how you use our website. How We Protect Your Information
We care about the integrity and security of your personal information and take reasonable steps to protect your identity. We run our website using the secure socket layer (SSL) service through our GoDaddy accounts.  We use the captcha service for signing in to make a comment on our website. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information when using the PayPal transaction service.

Compromise of Personal Information
In the event that personal information is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will promptly notify those persons whose personal information has been compromised, in accordance with the notification procedures set forth in this Privacy Policy, or as otherwise required by applicable law.

Your Choices About Your Information
You may, of course, decline to submit personally identifiable information to us in which case New Intelligentsia may not be able to provide certain services to you. You can review and correct the information about you that New Intelligentsia keeps on file by contacting us directly through the contact us form on our website.

Children’s Privacy
Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. For that reason, we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register on our site. If you are under 13, please do not send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 13 is allowed to provide any personal information to or on New Intelligentsia Atelier. In the event that we learn ]we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
